Connect your AI to MeduXa

You can practise with your MeduXa account inside Claude, ChatGPT or another AI tool: ask for practice questions by topic, answer in the chat, have your answer checked with an explanation, and see your progress and the review cards that are due.
In short: you connect once, from a browser on a computer, with your MeduXa account. The connection does not change your answers or progress in the app unless you turn on "Save answers". You can disconnect at any time.
1. What you need
- A MeduXa account with an active study pack.
- A claude.ai or ChatGPT account, or a tool that runs on your computer (for example Claude Code or Cursor).
- The connection address:

2. Connect claude.ai
Open the add-connector window in Claude, with the name and address already filled in. Then:
- Click Continue and finish adding it.
- Sign in to MeduXa and approve access.
- In a new chat, open the tools menu (+) next to the message box and turn MeduXa on.
If the link does not open: in Claude's settings choose Connectors, click Add custom connector, give it a name and paste the address. A free account can add one custom connector. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an organization Owner usually adds connectors.
3. Connect ChatGPT
- In Settings, under apps and connectors, turn on Developer mode.
- Create a new connector and paste the address.
- Sign in to MeduXa and approve access.
- In a new chat, click + next to the message box, choose Developer mode and turn MeduXa on.
Developer mode is available on some ChatGPT plans only.
4. Claude Code, Cursor and other tools on your computer
These connect with a personal token: in the app's settings menu choose "Connect my AI", create a token and copy the ready-made setup for your tool. A personal token expires after 90 days.

Questions with images are not sent through the connection. The tool never receives another user's data or any patient data.
6. What is stored, and where
What we store, for how long and on what legal basis is set out in the privacy policy, section 11. What the tool receives from you and from MeduXa is processed by the AI provider you chose, under its own privacy policy. A connection from claude.ai or ChatGPT lasts 30 days; after that you sign in again.
7. Disconnecting
You can disconnect at any time: in the app, under "Connect my AI" (one connection or all of them), or in Claude's or ChatGPT's connector settings. Changing or resetting your password disconnects all of them.
